Wirral Child & Young Person Mental Health Service CYPMHS (previously CAMHS) is a therapy-based service which offers support to children and young people with mild to severe mental health difficulties and their families and carers. We work in close alignment with the Local Authority, education and the voluntary sector. Our aim is to ensure that children receive the right support, from the right service at the right time.
Due to the current national focus on children’s services and subsequent investment an exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the development of CYPMHS service in Wirral in response to this challenge.
The successful applicant will be an experienced clinician who will work closely with CYPMHS leads, eating disorder specialists and members of core CYPMHS (previously CAMHS) to provide assessment and intervention within a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will be committed to help to develop and drive the CYPMHS Access service forward.
