There is a doctor/nurse allocated to care for patients in each bay and a nurse in charge on each shift. We have multiple admissions/transfers/discharges per day, so the pace is fast but rewarding. Many of our patients arrive to us acutely unwell and the satisfaction is immense when they become more stable and are discharged or transferred elsewhere.
