Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Mess Services Lead to join our team working at Cadet Training Centre Frimley Park.
You will manage a satellite site Mess location, from the daily activities to the assigned hospitality events. This will include front-of-house and light soft facilities management. There is a direct /indirect team of around 15 employees, and you will report to the General Manager at RMA Sandhurst.

What do we offer:
- This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week (shift pattern 5 days out of 7). The site is open 06:00-23:00, however managerial shifts will be expected anytime within the hours of 08:00-18:00, with an expectation to manage your own hours around the business needs.

A day in the life of a Mess Services Lead:
- Overseeing the smooth day-to-day running of the mess; managing the team, ensuring the best service is available to the mess members and other military personnel. This includes meal service at breakfast, lunch and dinner and cleaning of the accommodation areas.
- Organising and managing hospitality functions and dinners.
- Completion of company paperwork including ensuring inventories and statistical reports are completed correctly and at the right time.
- Ensuring all site staff are knowledgeable on all aspects of menu, beverages available, their contents, recipes, accompaniments, and service by teams using daily service briefings.
- Daily liaison with senior leadership and accounts team on site and attending weekly senior management team meetings. Attending client meetings where applicable.
You will be set up for success if you have:
- Been resident in the UK for the past 3 years and have a legal right to work and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks (under 18s use the site).
- Previous management experience.
- Previous experience in catering/food/Hospitality services or retail industry and a Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Good financial awareness and knowledge in managing budgets and growing sales.
- Excellent numeracy skills; strong written and verbal skills and good computer literacy.
