About the Role:
As a Team Manager in our service, you will lead a dedicated team of Independent Reviewing Officers.
Your role will provide assurance that the children and families of Oldham receive high-quality service, supporting their holistic needs through effective care planning and to ensure that the service is delivered in line with the IRO handbook.
This role is essential in supporting our IROs to undertake effective review of permanence plans for our children looked after ensuring timely progression and that their voice is heard and acted upon.
Provide high quality reflective supervision to your team on a regular basis, ensuring best practice and high standards of delivery.
Collaborate with other teams and multi-agency professionals to enhance planning and interventions for children and their families.
Monitor and evaluate service performance, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance with statutory requirements.
To make a strategic contribution to the wider development of the Service, and ensure drive of excellent practice to achieve good outcomes from children, young people and their families.
The post will lead on promoting a learning environment in which excellent reviewing officers and social work can flourish, and standards are maintained through a focus on continuous improvement and reflective practice.
