An exciting opportunity has arisen in Clinical Biochemistry department within the NHS East and Southeast London Pathology Partnership’s (ESEL). We are a new organisation, jointly owned by Barts Health NHS Trust, Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. Candidates must hold HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist and have completed an IBMS Specialist Diploma (or CPSM log book) in Clinical Biochemistry. Candidates should be in possession of strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills and have a minimum 2 years post registration experience in Clinical Biochemistry, (2 years in acute hospital setting) with evidence of CPD. Candidates who do not hold the completed IBMS Specialist Diploma may be considered but will be taken on under an Annex 21 contract where a percentage of Specialist Band 6 BMS salary will apply as per terms outlined in the NHS Terms and Conditions of Service Handbook.
