The Department of Clinical Haematology is based on 4 sites (Royal London, St Barts, Whipps Cross and Newham) and functions as one department. The medical team consists of 24 consultant hematologists and 9 haematology trainees, plus several middle grade and academic haematology fellows. We have a busy and interesting clinical and research practice and hold the largest NIHR-funded research portfolio for non-malignant haematology research in the UK.
