The post holder will manage the practice education team, to ensure robust processes are in place to meet the unit’s governance, training and education agenda and contribute to the delivery of our high quality maternity service.The post holder will lead and work closely with the senior midwifery team and the Clinical Director to ensure all standards are achieved, and a robust process is in place to meet all governance and Clinical Negligence Scheme for Trusts (CNST) agendas. There is a variable and interesting patient cohort including haemato-oncology, haemostasis and haemoglobinopathy.MRCP and FRCPath or equivalent with a broad experience in clinical and laboratory haematology are a requirement for this post.
