We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and self-motivated person to become the Council's Health and Safety Compliance Officer. Ideally you will have experience of working as a Health and Safety Officer in the public or private sector. Experience of working with the waste or transport industries would be very beneficial. You should have an excellent knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, policies and guidance and be able apply that knowledge in practical situations.Your main role will be providing advice to Senior Leadership and colleagues regarding Health and Safety compliance, making sure that there is a high level of compliance with legislation and good practice, ensuring a safe, healthy workforce.
