We are currently looking for a number of Open Spaces Operatives to join our Open Spaces Team at Thanet District Council. The role of Open Spaces Operative includes a range of grounds maintenance tasks across Thanet including grass cutting (ride-on and push mowers, strimmers), hedge cutting, weed control (using our hot foam machines as well as manual - no herbicides), maintaining beds and borders, as well as assisting with other tasks such as tree planting.You need to be physically fit to undertake this manual role throughout the day, with a large amount of walking included.
