We are looking for a flexible person for a dual role of Driver/Yard Operative within a busy timber merchant.The role will be mainly as a Driver delivering goods on our 3.5 tonne pickup however there will be some occasions where you will be required to assist in the Yard. Main duties: • Delivering goods on a 3.5 tonne pickup (full driving licence essential) • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with a forklift truck • Picking and packing orders • Serving and checking customer collections • Keeping work areas clean and tidy • Ensuring all duties are carried out as part of a safe working environment in strict compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures (including manual handling).The Package• Permanent contract.• Full time hours, typically 41 & 1/2 hours (Mon-...
