Geothermal Engineering is developing the first geothermal power plant in the UK at its site in United Downs near Redruth, Cornwall. Two deep wells have been drilled and developed and the power plant will shortly move into the commissioning phase. We are also now planning to build a lithium demonstration plant using the naturally occurring lithium resource in the geothermal brine. An opportunity has arisen for a process chemist to provide a key role in the execution of the lithium project.The ideal candidate will be a chemist with a degree in chemistry or chemical engineering, and at least three years’ work experience.
