We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, enthusiastic and resilient individual to work as a specialist within our licensing team. This involves dealing with a range of business licences, including taxis, alcohol premises, gambling, animal welfare and scrap metal.The work will involve building good relationships with licence-holders, applicants, councillors, colleagues and external partners, including the police, DVLA, trading standards and fire service to drive up standards. Workloads will often be heavy, so the ability to manage conflicting demands on your time is essential. You will also exercise good judgement and provide advice to a range of service users and provide technical support to colleagues.
