We work with the Emergency Department, radiologists and Orthopaedic Teams to manage patients and play a key role in managing patients to reduce unnecessary hospital admissions. We work to ensure patients are seen by the right specialities in a timely manner to ensure the best recovery from their injury. We contact patients by phone and email. It is fast paced, and the case load is variable dependent predominantly on referrals from the Emergency department. You will learn a lot about acute management of fractures.
