The post holder will manage the practice education team, to ensure robust processes are in place to meet the unit’s governance, training and education agenda and contribute to the delivery of our high quality maternity service.The post holder will lead and work closely with the senior midwifery team and the Clinical Director to ensure all standards are achieved, and a robust process is in place to meet all governance and Clinical Negligence Scheme for Trusts (CNST) agendas. This will include the review/development of clinical guidelines, implementing midwifery practice development plans and actions in response to risk case reviews and clinical supervision reviews.
