A Vacancy at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.Perinatal mental health services underwent a time of huge expansion nationally. Locally this has led to the development of a comprehensive perinatal mental health service for South Birmingham during Wave 1 of national funding. Wave 2 of this nationally funding has led to the creation of comprehensive services covering the Black Country and West Birmingham and the North & East Birmingham and Solihull. All teams are multi-disciplinary and comprise of specialist practitioners from relevant disciplines – psychology, nursing, OT, nursery nurses. These new teams work alongside the well-established existing 10 bedded inpatient Mother and Baby Unit and its inreach/outreach team, which accepts referrals from across the country....
