Applicants are sought to join the dedicated team of technicians supporting research and teaching activities in the School of Biology, predominantly in the Biomolecular Sciences Building (BMS) at the North Haugh in St Andrews. You will be helping to enable world leading science at the interface of biology, chemistry, physics and medicine by providing friendly and effective routine laboratory housekeeping.Key tasks include:• Collecting used glassware / plasticware from laboratories, washing and drying this, and returning it to its allocated location.• Operating and undertaking routine maintenance of the equipment you use, and reporting any equipment or service issues to your manager.• Supporting laboratory housekeeping eg by pipette tip racking, autoclaving, aliquoting reagent stocks, discar...
