Duties and responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to: Providing dental hygiene treatment in line with their approved scope of practice as per General Dental Council guidelines and in accordance with agreed patient group directive (PGD). Accurately recording treatment on each patients electronic health record. Ensuring surgery is prepared appropriately for the days patients in accordance with current regulations. Maintaining the standard and cleanliness of the surgery and accommodation for which they are responsible, reporting any deficiencies in accordance with local protocols.
