Due to imposed deadlines, pension tasks require to be completed in short timescales and under pressure. The post-holder will be expected to deal independently with predictable or routine problems (e.g. retiree looking for payment or refund of benefits, queries from managers regarding retirement costs, queries from HMRC, etc) and make decisions.
