The Cervical Cytology department at Manchester University Foundation Trust is seeking to recruit a Consultant Biomedical Scientist to join our Cervical Cytology team. The department is UKAS accredited and IBMS approved for training.We currently process approximately 470,000 requests producing approximately 70,000 cervical cytology slides using the Hologic ThinPrep LBC system. We are committed to quality improvement and research activities.To be shortlisted for this role you will be a HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist, hold the Royal College of Pathologists & Institute of Biomedical Science conjoint Advanced Specialist Diploma in Cervical Cytology and NHSCSP Certificate in Cervical Cytology (or equivalent).
